Well, time marches on for us all and I have decided to downsize my equipment and work in a different way. I am finished with large joinery items and, in future, will focus on furniture. I have sold much of my larger machinery saw, moulder, planer and replaced that with some additions to my Makita 18V platform and will be making greater use of hand tools. I have pruned the hand tools to end up with my favourites, exchanging my modern Ashley Isles for example for some 75 year old Sorby's, which belonged to my late father. I have retained a bandsaw, chop saw and pillar drill and designed a custom MFT to house a new Jessem router lift which I will detail in a future thread.

I have leased an industrial unit in Berwick, back in my home county, and am about to move my wood and metalwork shops in July.
